Harmony Midwest Collectors Club Minutes And News
3.26.06

In attendance were:
Linda Kowalczyk, Sue & Spencer Schmidt, Barb Correa
Andrea & Pat Perry, Dale & Carolyn Kern,
Ann & George Schmidt
At this meeting: Eyre Designs "Queen Bee"
  • George showed up with the food and managed to tear the place up. What a Klutz.
  • Linda finally showed up to a resounding cry of "Were Ya Been, Bitch"
  • With that done, we got on to business. We talked about the new HK Disney pieces to be released to HK dealers. The general consensus was that they were OK.
  • Pat "Shhhhsh"ed Andrea because Linda was talking. Like that's gonna work.
  • Andrea was the first to say penis.
  • Rumors from the "Harmony Kingdom World Message Board": Look for the return of an old HK friend & look for something new but old.
  • Linda claims the much ballyhooed HMW newsletter is complete, to which George responded, "Yeah Right, when pigs come out of my butt."
  • The word "Butt" apparently influenced Andrea to chime in penis once again.
  • We discussed David Lawrence's exclusive HMW piece. David sent us a sketch of what it will look like and the general consensus was WOW! We will be selling it at the Fin-Alley Gifts Event in July.
  • That brought up the Event piece that Eyre Designs will be giving away to Eyre Designs members. It is a cool frog pendant.
  • Dale & George slipped away to check Dale's website on the computer. (www.dalekern.comEveryone thought they went to check out some porn. Of course, with all the talk of butt's & penises, who could blame them.
  • The Fin-Alley Event's theme will be called "Feelin' The Love" because both Adam Binder & Neil Eyre will be there.
  • Dale said that he is not "Feelin' The Love", to which Pat responded, "Reach a little lower"
  • SHOW & TELL
Pat & Andrea brought lots of 1933 Chicago World's Fair collectibles, including, but not limited to:
    1) Original ticket books
    2) a 3-D booklet
    3) World's Fair postcards
    4) a tin matchbook holder
    5) a trinket box
    6) Lead pipe holder
    7) World's Fair tie pins
  • Linda told us about the special pieces donated to us that we will have to raffle off, including, but not limited to:
Eyre Designs: Fairy Frog,  Blue Overlay Siren's Song,  Onyx Taurus
    David Lawrence: Bronze Ms. Simpkins
  • As the meeting started to wind down, Ann started striping. OK, she only took off her sweater.
