Pat Perry, Our helping hands coordinator is taking the minutes this month
as George is bringing home the bacon and will be a little late
-
HK News:
Iris Harbert has accepted the position of Past President of House of Peers..

Show & Tell:
Pat and Andrea brought their Original Kin. They bought it on the way to
the

We voted for club positions. All positions stayed the same.
-
Newsletters:
All in attendance helped to fold the newsletters, apply address labels,
and apply the little round stickers to hold them closed -
We discussed the high cost of printing the newsletters in color.
* If we want all-color, it would cost us about $1000.
* 1 spread in color cost us $307.
* Pat and Andrea are looking into purchasing a color printer for the club -
Avis is "jazzed" about being published. Her recipe was printed in
the
newsletter along with a special "blue ribbon". -
Jacqui's name was misspelled in the newsletter. Oops. Sorry, Jacqui.
-

She is being ignored.
Andrea will donate a CHERISHED TEDDIES figure of "This Calls For A
Celebration".
-
We need more "more stuff" to auction. Someone needs to do some begging.
Anyone who donates $45 or more to the auction will get a business card sized ad
in our newsletter. Pat and Andrea volunteered to email all HK dealers.
- We got our checks from HOP.
-Live auction was $143
-$250 multi-club and Day Dreamer raffle
We will donate $250 into this year's charity, Friends of Battered Women.
Everyone voted in favor of this.
-
We got our 59 Pendants from HBC; there will be a lottery within our club.
HBC did not include the UK Clubs. Now the US Clubs are asked if we

send them a Minx pendant.
