Minutes And News 4.14.02

In attendance were: Linda Kowalczyk, Avis Saville, Sue & Spencer Schmidt,  Ann & George Schmidt, Nancy & Jeff Hix, Andrea & Pat Perry, Andrius Gerulis, Susan Gruhn & Thomas Wengerski

At this meeting:

George was late and we were all fainting from hunger. Friends Of Battered Women & Children in Evanston, IL will be our people Charity. Thanks to Avis for doing the research into this wonderful place. "Mickey Mouse Club" is the next ebay Disney auction piece which runs through April 18 - May 18. Linda brought a picture of the piece printed in gray scale and Ann called her a cheap ass for not printing in color. To which Linda responded "Bite My Ass" Adam Binder is out, David Lawrence is in.  We talked about some rumors on the HOP board, including the one that says someone else will be doing the dragon pieces instead of Peter Calvesbert. HK will supposedly be displaying some new David Lawrence pieces at Rosemont. We will have a Club Table at Rosemont and we will sell whatever the hell we want, despite the fact that HOP doesn't want any club to do this. We will donate the extremely rare and valuable Cardew Teapot to the Multi-Club Raffle at Rosemont. It will be quite a loss for all of us. We all had a giant laugh at Pat & Andrea's expense, as they are the only ones we know who actually signed up for the HOP Dinner Event at Rosemont. We asked which tasty meal choice they made and Andrea let Linda know she's number 1 by showing her a certain single finger. Thank God Linda's finally done talking. Door Prizes: 1) George won "This Little Light Of Mine" from Harbour Lights, which he promptly gave away to Nancy. 2) Andrea won "Knight With Dogs" from Younger & Associates. 3) Nancy won "Dragon" from Younger & Associates. Our next Meeting will be May 19, 2002.
