9.16.01

In attendance were:
Avis Saville, Tim Sieczko, Nancy Kloskowski,
Virginia von Helms, Adam Nowaczynski, Linda Kowalczyk,
Ann & George Schmidt,  Andrea & Pat Perry, Andrius Gerulis
At this meeting: Liberty & Justice
  • We said the heck with it and started the meeting by eating.
  • We are all thrilled that Linda is back and in control again.
  • We discussed the cancellation of the HOL signing tour or was it cussed about the cancellation.
  • There are apparently 5750 HallowFest pieces with one jeweled set.
  • HBC announced Sept. retirements. Sleepy Hollow - Shell Game - Harry - Rosie - Benny - Costello & Rush
  • We talked about the face hidden on Khepera's Castle. Is it Noel or Martin? Is that Peter's opinion of either of them by putting their face on a ball of Poop? There is a rumor going around that there are five different colors of the beetle, perhaps 50 of each.
  • The finished version of Tamira's Treasure has the small Peter taken out and the tail is supposedly straightened.
  • Paint-Your-Own Update: Linda called HBC and will be taking 35 kits. She will use the kits for art classes at the school where our meetings are usually held. 3 cheers for Linda.
  • Our annual Oktoberfest will be held on October 14th and will be at St. Paul's, our usual meeting place. All are welcome! The main food items will be supplied by HMW but feel free to bring a little nosh. Avis says if she can find her pan after her big move, she will make the official HMW cake.
  • We had an official vote and we decided to go the the Holiday Inn we went to last year for our up and coming Holiday Party which will be on Dec 9th.
  • Just thought I'd mention that Andrea & Pat were late again. (But not too late).
  • Avis showed everyone a picture of her grandson and his wee-wee. We debated over putting the picture on our website here, but decided as well hung as he was we might be breaking some porno laws.
  • We did get our club "Birds Of A Feather" redemption certificates. They have been mailed out and ya'll should receive them soon.
  • Somehow we wound up talking about Pamela Anderson's boobs.
  • Pat & Andrea still have Ladybug & Bumble Bee Pins for $5.00 each. If your interested, contact them by CLICKIN' HERE
  • We want to remind everyone AGAIN that we are raffling a complete set of early Adam Binder Faeries. The Tickets are $5 each or six for $20. All of this money will go to the Harmony Midwest Charitable Trust. December 9th will be the official cut-off date no matter how much we sell and the winner will be drawn at the Holiday Party.
  • Andrea will look into some possible high finance deals for the club.
  • We have a special treat today. Lot's 'o stuff from Harbour Lights, who donated to HMW.
  • Linda regaled us with a story about sheep and outhouses.
  • We will put up a limited edition Harbour Lights "Liberty Enlightening The World" on ebay and whatever we get we will send to a charity in NY.
  • Andrius forgot the Show 'n Tell piece he was going to bring.
  • Linda & George are feeling the love as the meeting comes to an end.
