Minutes And News 6.3.01

At this meeting:

Good News: There are 33 Adam Binder Faeries for our raffle instead of 24 (we think). Guess we'll count them before we start the meeting. OK, seems there are 31. Sharon says the hot dogs we are having are the best she has ever had. George says he stuffed them himself. Linda says let's get the show on the road. We greeted newbie Barbara Correa. Pot Bellies will still be made in China.  Bad News: we don't have our Memories Dinner tickets yet due to a "Long Story Short" snafu. Good News: they are telling us "Don't worry about it"..... Yeah, Right El Presidente Jeff says he'll be at Rosemont all week long. He'll straighten it out. Linda will have a table at the HK Swap n' Sell. We all said good for her. We will have 2 tables at the HK Reunion. We finalized how we will run the Touchy - Feely or "Reach out and Touch a Box" game. We asked Jeff if we could use one of his Baroque Angels in the game......Yeah, Right. The contest will be $1 for one minute and we will all due hour shifts at the tables. Ron says we're just waiting for the Federal Tax Number for our Charitable Trust, which we should have in 60 days.......Yeah, Right We will be raffling a Francis, Y2HK, and Noah's Park Tile Set. The tickets are $2 each or 3 for $5 and the winner will be announced at the Reunion. Sharon is having another wonderful Hot Dog. We are now receiving some fine HBC Leftover stuff that is worth lot's.....Yeah Right The next meeting will be August 12th at Fin-Alley.
