Minutes And News 1.09.00

In attendance were: Linda Kowalczyk, Simone Flynn, Sharon Bufton, Ann & George Schmidt, Nancy & Jeff Hix, Andrea Perry, Edie Overstreet & son Bill, Mary & Larry LePage, and Andrius Gerulis

At this meeting:

Andrius Gerlulis has informed us that he is relinquishing his Labor Intensive position of Vice-President. Nancy has graciously volunteered to take over that spot. Yells of approval were deafening. (it's more fun than actually voting on something) We all gazed at our Christmas Card from Harmony Ball Company .....signed by Pam, Sir Brian and some name we couldn't make out. (Must be a "Nobody"). Susan said she wouldn't partake in any of the Chili we were having, as she wasn't feeling that well. And she didn't want to subject us to the " House That Roared " This was Karen Pedersen's first visit to us Silly & Whimsical Folks at HMW as she resides in Iowa and (Get this), the building she lives in has a Harmony Kingdom Dealer on the main floor. How Cool is that????? Hope she had fun and will visit us again. Ann smacked George and we all threw chocolate around. Linda says we still have quite a few bucks . Woooooo Whooooooo!!. Door Prizes were awarded to: Laser Pointer...........Tom Wengerski Two Year 2000 Party Poppers.........Ann Schmidt Harmony Garden "Pomegranate"........George Schmidt Festive & Fragrant Candles........Andrea Perry Harmony Kingdom "At The Hop "......Simone Flynn Seashell (from a VERY SPECIAL beach)..........Linda Kowalczyk. She said she would sleep with it!!! We turned the lights out and Tom dazzled us with a Laser Light Show. SHOW & TELL Simone brought a Cruise Cat and a British version of the House Of Lords Tile Box . The Cruise Cat is just way too cute ! Susan brought a Horn A' Plenty without vines. What a great find! Our next Meeting will be Feb. 13, 2000. Simone says that fortunately it's not on the 14th, because Valentine's Day is " Man-Day " at her shop. Is that good or bad????
