Minutes And News 4.09.00

In attendance were: Linda Kowalczyk, Sharon Bufton, Nancy Snow Ann & George Schmidt, Andrea Perry, Edie Overstreet

At this meeting:

First we talked about all the people who weren't going to be at the meeting. Those of you who were under the weather, we hope you're feeling better. We discussed HBC Chiming Balls , ...which we liked, ...which were available. Edie said......(shhh).... screwed! (We were flabergasted!) in regards to a recent problem she was having.

We talked about our HMW Club Table at Rosemont and Sharon volunteered to help there. We said she's beautiful . Linda is on the Nominating Commitee for the HOP . We're so in awe . Linda is also Banner Barer for HMW at Atlanta. We are doubly awed . We had to stop the meeting momentarily because George had to piddle and no one else would type in the minutes. We compared cell phones because Linda's buzzed & vibrated and scared the @%#$*% out of us. We talked about how cute the pieces " Fishy Business " and " Danger's Darlings " were and we had sneak pics of them to see for ourselves.

SHOW & TELL

We talked about all the Buzz on the Bulletin Board about the black and the brown versions of "Cookie's Jar". Well, Linda brought in a real treat. A Rare Gray version of the piece. What a Find !!!!

Linda also brought in 3 versions of " Pink Paradise ". A normal one, a Black Beaked one, and a very pale pink one that was quite pretty. Looks like Linda was the only one to bring something in!! She also brought in a " Dragon's Breath " and an HK Tile Frame that she hand-stained herself. It really turned out great. Too bad all the frames from HK couldn't look this good.

Linda said...(shhh).... screwed! (We were flabergasted!) in regards to an old problem she had regarding carpet. George...(shhh).... screwed up! (We were flabergasted!) because he hadn't made the little Infinity Stickers for our Tacky Buttons yet. He received a stern tongue lashing ! Next Meeting will be May 21, 2000. Our June Meeting will be June 21, 2000.
