Minutes and News
January 11, 1998
We are sad to announce
that Brenda and Michelle Gravenish are moving and will no longer
be able to attend the Harmony Midwest Collector's Club meetings
on a regular basis. They played a major part in the formation of
this club and their participation will be greatly missed. We
would like to extend a special thanks to them for helping in
organizing and planning the meetings and activities of the club.
We look forward to their continued "long distance"
participation and wish them the best of luck in their new
location. Thanks for everything Brenda and Michelle! We'll miss
you both!
The club has been meeting
now since October 1997. Everything has been pretty informal and
will continue to stay that way for the most part. However, we
discussed and decided that we need to assign officers and become
a little more structured. We are looking to fill the following
positions:
President
Vice President
Secretary
Treasurer
There are possibly a few
other positions but these are the main ones that need attention
as soon as possible. We are planning to discuss and fill these
positions at the next meeting. If anyone would like to volunteer
for any of the positions, please email Bob Adams at boba@cu-online.com.
Ann from Fin Alley was
kind enough to bring in a few unique pieces to share such as the
grey shark Tin Cat, red dog Nic Nac Paddy Wac, and black beaked
Pink Paradise.
Simone from Accents Studio
brought in different versions of side steppin' (hind legs painted
and not painted), softly colored black beaked Pink Paradise, and
Princely Thoughts with the hole drilled in the lid. This box was
one of the original boxes used to distribute the Harmony Ball
Chiming sphere necklaces. What a find
Steve and Ann Weaver
brought in pewter versions of Life's A Picinic and Teacher's Pet.

too cool license plate:
Way to go Bob!
The members in attendance
were Brenda Gravenish, Bob Adams, Steve and Ann Weaver, Kathy
Plehn, Linda Kowalczyk, Ann Schmidt, Simone and Shauna Flynn.
